ROADSIDE, PARKS, AND RIVER CLEANUPS:
KALB will provide bags, gloves, safety vests, and litter
grabbers for any group cleanup. You pick the date
during the months of March, April or May. Special
group activities may be held during the month. Watch
local media for details.

FREE DUMP DAY - March 29, 2008:
Limestone County residents can take up to a truckload of
trash to the BFI Transfer Station on Hwy. 72 West (just east of 7 Mile Post Road) free of charge!
RESTRICTIONS: refrigerators, freezers, and air
conditioners must have the compressors removed, or be
accompanied by a receipt showing that the freon has been
professionally removed. No hazardous chemicals or
medical waste. Limit of 4 automobile tires accepted
per load. You may be asked to show proof of residency,
so be prepared to show your driver's license. NO
CONTRACTORS WILL BE PERMITTED TO DUMP FREE.

FISH FRY, SHRIMP, & CHICKEN DINNER:
On
Monday, April 7th,, 4-7 p.m., at the Beasley
Center....eat in or take out fish, chicken, or shrimp
dinners cooked by Swamp John's....some of the best fish
around! Learn a little more about KALB while
you're there and what the Great American Cleanup is all
about! Tickets are $9 and include catfish, chicken
strips, shrimp...or you can mix it up! Also includes
fries, slaw, hushpuppies, trimmings, and tea. Desserts
available while they last. Contact KALB for tickets.
